Welcome, Wilma & Schnucki!

Two new members on our farm: Wilma and Schnucki, each a Camerun sheep mix. We rescued them from being slaughtered after all of the other sheep in their herd had already been killed. The butcher notified the owner that quite many sheep were pregnant, though. So, he sold the remaining two. Wilma and Schnucki are about one year old, their babies are due in January/February of 2018.

How to tell the two apart from each other? Well, Wilma is the darker one, which means that Schnucki has a little more White in her wool. She is also more curly than Wilma.
They won't like it much, but they have to stay inside for the winter as we cannot tell when they will have their lambs. They can get outside in the spring, when their babies are big and strong enough to bear the weather.
